The daisy ship is a sun orbiting ring that has a workable cable mesh grid as means to capture astroids up to a football field in size and change their orbit to collide with mars at a designated cordinate. The smaller ship in the for ground is a control ship that does the work of say a floating fork lift in a sence. it uses two mecanical arms to do things like clamping the cables in the center of what ever rock they grab. and also used to move unwanted atroids out of the way if they are in close proximinty of the target astroid.
The atroid is then pushed ever so gently faster and faster to a set volosity that places the astroid where they want it on the surface of mars.
ofcourse it could also be used as an alternative to an atomic bomb anywhere in the solorsystem.it would be an eco friendly city destroyer.
